Join us in the orchard in spring/summer 2025 for an immersive cooking experience hosted by chef Darren Broom. Learn the art of butchery and live fire cooking from a seasoned professional, pick and cook your own ingredients from the garden and enjoy a superb lunch in the restaurant.

ITINERARY

10am arrive for tea, coffee & pastries in the courtyard

Garden walk & harvest with Darren and Head Gardener, James

Build and light a fire in the orchard fire pit

Old Herdwick Lamb break down with Darren (Smaller cuts butchered and cooked by guests, remainder cut up & wrapped to take home)

Vegetable workshop including:- Clay baked onions- Ember baked squashes- Brined & grilled carrots- Rolled chard

Make a garden ketchup to take home

Three-course lunch in the restaurant
